Overview of 2012 Renault Fluence E4 Diesel
Renault India was established in 2005 and entered in to collaboration with Mahindra & Mahindra to manufacture the popular Logan sedan. In April, 2010 Renault decided to go solo in the Indian market and in May, 2011 introduced its first product, the premium Executive sedan Fluence. Renault cars are manufactured in the Alliance plant located on the outskirts of Chennai in Oragadam with a capacity of 200,000 units per annum.
Renault Fluence is available in both petrol and diesel engine variants. The diesel variant is coupled to with Manual Type transmission with 6 forward, 1Reverse gear, whereas the petrol variant of this beautiful sedan is added with Advanced CVT II transmission including 6 speed automatic gear and Manual Mode, if required. Also, it is very efficient in terms of suspension, brakes and the steering. The sedan comes fitted with advanced suspension system in which front suspension is a MacPherson type with coil spring, stabilizer bar and double acting shock absorber and rear one comes fitted with a trailing arm type with coil spring and double acting shock absorber. The car uses rigid chassis that ensures comfortable, enjoyable and efficient riding experience on Indian roads. Apart from this, Renault Fluence is also fitted with ventilated discs brakes.
As far as exterior and interior design is concerned, the car can be termed as one of the most beautiful cars currently running on Indian roads and is definitely a head turner. The Renault Fluence has a dynamic yet sober front view which comprises of a sleek and rectangular upper grille in box design added with the company emblem. The lower grille spreads across the full front view or the nose. Front fog lamps rest there and deliver an elegant look. There is nothing special about the headlamp cluster as it comes in ordinary design but incorporates broad outlines. The ORVMs and door handles also matches the body color for uniform appearance. Side skirts are kept bold and beautiful for the sake of sporty image of the Renault Fluence. The rear side view of the car is bolder than its front view. The tail lights are more than long that cover most of the space at rear and side. The car has boot with a sleek spoiler. Rear bumper comes in black that houses the exhaust pipe tip peeping out from it.
