MERCEDES-BENZ – SLS AMG MATT SPECIAL EDITION

Mercedes-Benz has announced the retiring of the SLS AMG in anticipation of the release of its 2013 SLS AMG GT,

But the luxury automaker is giving its current model a last hurrah in Japan with the introduction of the special edition dubbed the “Matt.” The vehicle will come in three versions: a matte black roadster with red accents throughout the exterior (similar to the Performance Studio C63 AMG also exclusive to the Japanese market),

Plus white matte editions in both coupe and roadster models. The cars all have standard specifications that include the AMG Ride Control adaptive suspension, leather and Alcantara performance steering wheel and special AMG ten-spoke wheels. The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG special editions will be available in Japan starting in September.
